About Skybase Aviation HK

Skybase Aviation HK is the international platform of the Skybase group. From Hong Kong, it develops cross-border relationships, connects universities and industry partners, introduces international knowledge and opportunities, and creates pathways between global aviation innovation and the rapidly developing low-altitude economy.
Its core operating base in Mainland China is in Ningbo. Ningbo Skybase Cloudscape turns that international vision into practical activity by connecting Skybase’s relationships and sector knowledge with local government, universities, enterprises, physical facilities and real operating opportunities.
From its Ningbo office, the team coordinates education partnerships, China Xianxiang Aviation Base operations, industry visits, project development and collaboration with aviation and technology companies. Together, Hong Kong and Ningbo provide a connected platform through which people can learn, aircraft and systems can operate, companies can test ideas, and aviation projects can progress toward sustainable activity and wider markets.
Our role in Ningbo
Skybase Cloudscape works across the public, academic and commercial sectors. It helps universities connect learning with aviation practice, supports governments and enterprises exploring the low-altitude economy, and provides industry partners with a local platform for collaboration, demonstration and development.
The company also operates and develops China Xianxiang Aviation Base, giving these partnerships a physical home and an authentic operating environment.

China Xianxiang Aviation Base
China Xianxiang Aviation Base is the physical and operational centre of Skybase’s work in Ningbo. The coastal base brings together the essential elements needed for practical aviation: designated operating airspace, a dedicated runway, aircraft storage and support areas, training and event spaces, drone activity zones and room for future development.
Access to an organised environment for approved manned and unmanned aviation activity, training, demonstration and testing.
A dedicated paved runway and adjoining operating areas supporting light aviation, practical instruction and flight activity.
Covered aircraft storage, preparation and support space for based aircraft, visiting operators and hands-on learning.
Flexible outdoor zones for drone training, racing, demonstrations, aviation sports and public-facing events.
A real operating context for university programmes, youth education, professional learning and industry visits.
A practical platform where partners can gather operational feedback and demonstrate emerging low-altitude technologies.

Regional significance
China Xianxiang Aviation Base has been officially named a Zhejiang Low-Altitude Economy Pioneer Flight Zone by the provincial authorities. The designation recognises the base as an early, practical operating zone where Zhejiang can explore how low-altitude aviation is introduced safely and usefully. It connects infrastructure, airspace, talent, technology, application scenarios and industry participation—helping new ideas move beyond policy and presentation into real operations, evidence and repeatable models for future development.
A platform in action

Developing the base
The continuing development of China Xianxiang Aviation Base is intended to expand its value as an education centre, operating base, testing environment and meeting point for the low-altitude economy.
Future facilities are planned to support a broader mix of aircraft, training, demonstration, technology validation and industry activity.
