From its Ningbo office, the team coordinates education partnerships, China Xianxiang Aviation Base operations, industry visits, project development and collaboration with aviation and technology companies. China Xianxiang Aviation Base is the physical and operational centre of Skybase’s work in Ningbo. The coastal base brings together the essential elements needed for practical aviation: designated operating airspace, a dedicated runway, aircraft storage and support areas, training and event spaces, drone activity zones and room for future development.

Zhejiang Low-Altitude Economy
Pioneer Flight Zone

China Xianxiang Aviation Base has been officially named a Zhejiang Low-Altitude Economy Pioneer Flight Zone by the provincial authorities. The designation recognises the base as an early, practical operating zone where Zhejiang can explore how low-altitude aviation is introduced safely and usefully. It connects infrastructure, airspace, talent, technology, application scenarios and industry participation—helping new ideas move beyond policy and presentation into real operations, evidence and repeatable models for future development.
