Education with purpose
Aviation is expanding beyond traditional piloting and maintenance. Drones, eVTOL aircraft, intelligent infrastructure and new low-altitude applications require people who understand technology, regulation, safety, operations and commercial reality as one connected system.
Skybase works with local and overseas universities, education providers and industry partners to design programmes that respond to this change. Our approach combines academic learning, practical exposure and real operating environments—helping students, professionals and institutions build knowledge that can be applied with confidence.

Education in practice
Skybase is already delivering aviation and low-altitude economy education for primary and secondary schools in Ningbo. Through age-appropriate programmes, students gain an early understanding of new aircraft, drones, intelligent systems, safety, future applications and the industries developing around them.
We introduce students to emerging aviation technologies and the structure of the low-altitude economy, helping schools connect science, engineering, geography and future careers with a fast-developing real-world industry.
Skybase regularly organises study and practice activities and courses for students from Mainland China and Hong Kong. Participants visit authentic aviation environments, experience aircraft and flight-related activity, and complete practical projects that turn curiosity into direct learning.
UNIVERSITY CREDIT PROGRAMMEWe are working with Eastern Institute of Technology, Ningbo to create a credit-bearing low-altitude economy programme. The collaboration connects academic study with sector knowledge, practical environments and industry participation.
Building on this model, Skybase is exploring how the same strategy can extend to universities in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia—creating connected regional pathways for low-altitude economy education, exchange, research and practical learning.

Manned aviation
Introductions to flight, structured practical training and overseas learning opportunities connect aeronautical knowledge with the discipline, judgement and safety culture of real aviation.

Unmanned aviation
Students can develop skills in drone operation, safety, racing and application scenarios while understanding how unmanned systems fit into the wider low-altitude environment.

Technical & operational learning
Aircraft, airspace, weather, ground facilities, operational planning and maintenance awareness are brought together so learners see aviation as a working system rather than isolated subjects.

Youth & public education
Events, competitions, camps and introductory activities make aviation visible and exciting, creating accessible entry points for young people and the wider community.


University collaboration
Skybase works with universities in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas to create programmes that extend beyond conventional classroom delivery. Collaboration can combine curriculum development, practical modules, aviation-base access, joint research and direct engagement with technology companies.

A real place to learn
Education becomes more meaningful when learners can see how aviation works in practice. At China Xianxiang Aviation Base, the runway, hangar, aircraft, drone areas and operating environment provide context for safety, airfield activity, flight preparation, technology demonstration and aviation events.
The base supports practical learning while also giving university and industry partners a place to meet, observe, test ideas and build programmes around real operational needs.
